Session 3: Re-thinking Risk: Chemicals in Synergy and Real-World Assessment
Thursday 12th June - 09:30 - 12:30
Presentation: Title
Presenters: Dylan Asbury, Matt Cato, Lowenna Jones, Charlotte Robison-Smith, Safia El Amiri, Isabel Navarro Law, Olasunkanmi Dosunmu
Presentation Abstract: How can we expand upon our knowledge of chemical risks to the environment to create a more holistic approach to managing them? This comes from understanding not only how chemical mixtures interact with other environmental stressors both on small and large scales, but also understanding how to communicate these findings effectively to the public and policy makers. ECORISC students have been focusing on this question from various perspectives and will present their answers to show the complexity of the challenge that faces us.
